LSJ Questions

Ok LSJ experts couple of questions

I have an aluminum spacer between the engine and trans. w/o measuring it it looks 4-5mm. Is this normal?

Can anyone identify these injectors? They look awfully clean and the wire harness looks newer than the rest of the engine bay wiring. I saw somewhere that some companies color code theirs.

The spacer is normal for the LSJ/F35. I'm not sure about other ecotec/transmission combinations.
The injectors are easy to remove. Can you see the number on the injector itself? It is a common performance part to swap in.

Those bright green injectors are the stock 32lb/hr injectors that are in my 06 LSJ.
Those injectors run 98% duty cycle at redline (6500 rpm), so they need to be upgraded to rev this engine higher.
I think later years got the black 42lb/hr injectors.
The spacer in between the bell housing and the engine is normal.

So another question. My book does not show what the interval is for the timing chain replacement. But the cover gasket and the water pump looks brand new.
