Man what do this mean

I ran a code check because the check engine light came on. Under boost malfunction what is causing this please if you know help me out thanks in advance.

• Low oil pressure in the engine
• Fault in the EGR system
• Air or intake leak or restriction
• Faulty boost pressure sensor

Either #4 or 5 I would think.

I would look for a boost leak. This happens on diesel truck all the time, with gaskets and such.

Yes, I replaced the 3rd brake light and now the Cruise control is working and that code is fixed thanks for the reply

seriously. Unless you added an air to air intercooler, check for the turbo being tight to the manifold. Exhaust manifold to head, turbo to intake , things like that.

Man oh man I just purchased this car as my Donor car for my build the power loss and code is do to this air fitting was broke and the previous guy Silicone this piece up in the other piece that's why the boost was lacking causing the code smdh.

The car is so clean may have to find another one and keep this one.

Just amazing what some have found on their donors. Makes you wonder a little about the fact they are on the same roads as us. :/

The 09 ss/tc I bought also had this fitting broken off and poorly jbwelded together.

Where does the opposite end connect to?

Not sure but the K&N cold air intake come with the pipe it's called the PCV TUBE.
