Knowing FHP, they were probably coming for you thinking you were illegal, but when they got close and saw the Montana plate continued on with their sirens and lights so they didn't look like fools and turned them off further down the road

I am still without a "pullover" after two years.
Texas police have looked over at me at least 20 times, but never stopped me yet.
Not even a "car guy" in their ranks that might just want to chat........

Tube framed scofflaw driving on the highway is definitely a two squad car situation - the criminal may try to run and can't miss the opportunity for a good car chase. And the first car did slow down to have a look at Jareth's plate.

I've been very fortunate that I haven't been pulled over. I have, however, had numerous cops spin around and come right up on me. As soon as they see I have plates, they generally go back to whatever they were doing.

Must be the protocol in Missouri. They come up real fast in the mirrors. I don't leave home without my huge folder of paperwork, though, I'm ready!

I feel like the overlap between boys in blue and gearheads may be pretty large, especially here in Michigan. One of few perks of the state I guess.
