Rear brakes locked up

We just bled the brakes and transmission and the pedals seem solid. I took it a block down and a block back. Get it back into the garage and my rear brakes are locked up. The car is in neutral the ebrake cables are loose. I jacked up the rear and I can't move the tires forward or in reverse. Initally I was thinking the ebrake was active but it doesn't seem that way. Any other ideas?

Sounds like a hydraulic issue. If you break loose the rear brake bleeder, and let the pressure out, will the brakes release?

I just connected a hose to the bleeder cracked it and tightened it back down. It didn't release

Sure it's the brakes? Could be something in the transmission? Is it going into neutral or 'stuck' in a gear?

Well I can start it in neutral and release the clutch and it doesn't roll forward or backward. I pulled the ebrake cables back some from the caliper and when I pull the handle again the plates on the caliper that the cables attach to doesn't move. So it seems the ebrake plates on both sides are stuck.

I had an issue with my brakes where they would start to tighten up as I drove. It never got to the point of locking up, but the car would slow significantly when I got off the gas. The rotors also started heating up to the point of slight color change. I adjusted the parking brake at the lever and it went away. They wouldn't be tight when I started out but tightened as I drove. I never figured out why it did that, but it was definitely fixed by adjusting the parking brake.

As I see in past posts, you did coat the calipers and did make your own cable guide tubes. Can you push and pull the cable through the guide tubes once they are installed on the car? Perhaps the PEX tubing creates too much drag to release even though you have slack at the handle.
