Relocate key - ignition

Nope.

Even when we did have a key, it wasn't a problem. I'm 6' even. We may have the seat back farther than you do.

I'm just under six feet tall. Even with my seat back all the way the Key is still an issue. I do have Braum seats that may be more plush than the Corbeau seats. Also I raised the base of my seats 1-1/2".

I didn’t retain the switch just for the waste of an unneeded locking mechanism and the added weight/space. A simple ignition switch can be mounted anywhere. The VATS can even be retained in a hidden spot with the key zip tied to the TDM.

Lol. I didn't want to make my car any easier to steal. It isn't for everyone.

Question, I have an 07 SS that the key is shot ( takes alot of wiggling to get it to turn) all the replacement tumblers I've found do not include a key. The key looks like a normal key does it have the security thing you guys are talking about? I've installed remote starts on older GM cars that had a black nub on the key that I had to deal with. Have they made it more discrete?

Ross
That little + sign with a circle around it indicates that this is a GM PK3+ key. So yes, it is very discrete, but we can do a key relearn on our cars.

Everyone will fit differently into their Goblin, different seats, different positions (X, Y, Z), and different physically for height of torso and leg length. So some will have no problems with the stock location of things like steering wheel, shifter and even the ignition switch. But it is relatively easy to relocate, at least to a degree, these things to accommodate your physical differences. The ignition switch mounting bracket can be tweaked or even moved (requires welding) to make it fit. I've moved my ignition switch close to the lower left side of the steering column just so it is out of the way. :D

I have BradR's ignition bypass and I moved my key (VATS purposes) to my #D printed dash below the gauge panel.

However, when I have the key in the stock location my knee does not hit it. I'm 6' and have the extended frame.
