Off to a good start. Stripping down my 2010 donor. Need to grab a few tools and get back to work.

Using a 2010 4door, with 110,000 on it. Waiting to pick up frame #224. Hopefully soon. I’ve been reading a lot of posts here for some time, and I will have questions. Thanks for the warm welcome. Semper FI!

Making even more progress today. Engine is out, interior stripped, and most of the wiring labeled.
had to stop and pick up three of the grandkids from school, opportunity to hang out with them, plus it’s the perfect excuse for ice cream. Hahahaha
As soon as the wife gets home it’ll be back to work.

Day three of the cobalt tear down. If it keeps going well I should have it finished by tonight. Only the rear end parts and fuel tank left to get out.

Don't forget to save the aluminum parking brake tubes, left and right, and the parking brake cables.

Well, I had to say it. No sooner than I posted my last and POW. A huge thunder clap and dark sky’s . Screw you MURPHEY!!! Did manage to get the dash out and the steering column broke down. Looks like lm going to have to take my day off, well... Off. Spend some time with the wife.
back to work tomorrow night, did I mention how much I love shift work. At least I’ll have all this next weekend.

There's an extra 'f' in the spelling for shift work. Hang in there, there's still plenty of donor prep work to be done while you're waiting for the kit to show up.

if you will be trying to sell any unused parts, you will want to keep the seats, struts, etc. as well! You would be amazed at how many little Cobalt parts are wanted out there!

Got an early morning start. Dash is disassembled and harness is out. Going to get the back of the car on jack stands. Will see what time I have before work tonight.

Good morning!! With the exception of the park brake the donor is all stripped.

Going to take this time today to get the wiring harness done.

getting the table ready and I’ll check back in as time permits.
