Steering wheel mounting

Still working on mock up and haven’t installed the steering column.

Is it easily possible to lower the height of the steering wheel about 1 inch if proper brackets were fabricated?

Not sure if you have seen this mod - retaining the tilt mechanism.

I'm at that point too... but staying with DFG supplied steering. I'm putting some spacers between the frame and the power steering unit as well as the DFG provided column to drop the steering wheel down a little. I figured it would be a better fit for me at 5'7". I'm also going with a 320mm D-shaped steering wheel... either the Assult or NRG. This requires an adapter to go from DFG supplied 3 hole steering wheel mount to a six hole mount: https://www.jegs.com/i/GT-Performance/099/20-3006/10002/-1

Thanks. I’m only 5’7 as well so makes sense. I’m also trying to make room for a gauge panel because I’m ditching the hideous factory cluster.
