Subframe radiator supports

Whats the general consensus on this? Are you guys cutting the radiator supports off and smoothing them out or just leaving it on?

???Which radiator supports??? Are you talking about the 'ears' the radiator connects to (top bolt, bottom rubber fitting) or the triangle shaped frame piece that bolts onto the nose?

The left one is useful for the ambient air temp sensor, the right is just along for the ride so you could cut it off if you wanted to.

I cut the Cobalt radiator supports off the Chevy subframe.

I don't have a picture on my phone.
But I believe that they hold the bottom of the radiator with rubber isolators. I dont see a purpose for them now that the radiator is gone from that position.

I took mine off. I was told they were pointless. I kept the bolts but I think tossed the supports them self. Will have to check the scrap pile in the trunk haha

They hold the parking brake cable tubes on mine.
