V1 Toe setting

How to set toe front and rear making car square. Measure the toe front and rear with a Longacer style toe gauge.
calculate the front and rear width by adding both rear toe lengths and divide by 2. Compare front to rear. On mine the front was 10mm narrower. Put a 5mm spacer at the widest part of each rear tire and 10mm on each front tire.
now just measure from string to rim (or since you know the diameter of spacer just measure to the blug of the tire.
This will make the car square and easy to do anywhere.

Just out of curiosity after reading this, I went and measured mine. Just had to! :)
I had already used the DIY method promoted by Lonny The Great.

My measurements for the string:
Front 7.5 mm in for each side.
Rear were 7 mm in and 8 mm in for the other. Looks like I could "toe out" the rear a little bit more.

I just love the simplicity of this approach! Thanks, George!
