V1 Transmission Intermediate Shaft Bearing

I am replacing the Intermediate Bearing on the drive shaft that goes to the drivers side.
Keep in mind that the bearing has 150,000 miles on it and is 15 years old.
You can get it from granger and its easy to do. Below is the link They are only 72 bucks.

I purchased the intermediate bearing as well. Some prices were super low. I got scared when I read about all the counterfeit bearings and their failure rates. I ended up purchasing a Saab bearing from a verified dealer. The same bearing, but a little cheaper than GM at the time.

I dont think GM still sells the bearing but I agree with you about cheap parts Its why I went with SKF

Sorry, phone corrected it from SKF to ALF, although I didn't know the puppet from the 80's was better known to Apple than the 100+ year bearing company.
