Tune Files

Picked up the HR Tuner MPVI2. They have some Tune Files on line but none for the 2.4 NA Ecotec. Anyone know where I can find a decent Tune File for this engine? That gives me something to start with that I can tweak as needed. Thanks

The HP Tuners repository got cleaned up recently, as there use to be a bunch of modified tunes in it for ecotecs.
Not sure why they did that, it sucks.

Do you have a running engine right now, or does your engine have a bunch of changes?
Start by downloading your stock tune, and tune from there.

Yes, engine is running & runs great. I have the tuner & the AVM-30-0300 wide-band fuel sensor. also, I did download the stock file from the car & save it. Just need to find some Tune files to try out.

Other peoples tune files will give you some ideas on what to change, but I wouldn't install them in my engine and expect it to run better.
How is your long term fuel trims and short term fuel trims looking?
Maybe put your engine in open loop and do some MAF tuning?

The LE5 uses Bosch E67 ECU. I think that is a Gen 4. My LSJ is a P12 ECU which is a Gen 3.

I also have seen my Injector Duty Cycle hitting 98%. I wonder if the LE5 has the same bright green 32lb/hr injectors as my LSJ.

Oh, that is probably why they cleaned it up. Nothing but stock tunes left.
