Water Proof?

Ark :D
Rain is a bad idea. The electronics would most likely survive, but not 100% definitely.

Snow? Don't even think about it. Most people put some level of performance tires on their Goblin, so temps cold enough for snow are very treacherous. Plus, the car is open-air ... it could not possibly be worthwhile to drive it in a mess.

Just my opinions ... you do you.

I’m very careful when washing the goblin not to get water on the bcm, dash and even ecm much. Some have been in total downpours, though.

I've been thru a few downpours. With the body panels on, and travelling forwards (backwards on a trailer isn't a good idea in rain) it seems to do well. I drove it a few years without hood and side panels, and replaced the power steering, bcm and instrument cluster 2 or 3 times... after getting them soaked with rain.

I had autocross in all wet the other day and everything seems to have survived. I did tape up a few of the more sensitive areas to try and prevent water. My friends want me to stud up some tires and do an scca ice race... But im not convinced i can get it that water tight ha!

I think you just have to be conscious of what used to live inside your doner, since many of those electronics are not made to take water. A few folks have said power steering gets angry when wet, so thats one known sensitivity. Engine side, everything is a weather ready connection, so nothing to worry about back there.

We need studded tires and then go to Anchor Bay and do the ice drag races !!!!
