Been awhile since I’ve updated. Been troubleshooting with ZZP and the oil leak in the turbo. They sent me an in-line oil filter and restrictor for the oil feed line stating that sometimes the pressure is too much for the seals so restricting it would stop the oil from leaking.

Keep Looking. Find one that is running and driving if you have no mechanical experience. Clutch jobs are easy when the engine is removed, but no experience can cause issues.

I’m assuming the SC just makes the belt run like it does on the LSJ. Easiest way to tell if it should be smooth or ribbed as it routes around a pulley is if the pulley is smooth or ribbed. Also posting a picture.

The marked cable go to the left on the tunnel, to the left of the shifter. In the engine bay, the marked cable goes to the left mount on the bracket (the lower of the 2 mounting points).
Like @Gtstorey said, engine serial number is on the side of the oil filter. The vehicle VIN will be on the starter mount of the engine block. Reference my pictures above.
They are different numbers and don’t appear to be related in any way
my vin plate from the donor and my vin on the engine block. Wasn’t on the oil filter housing, was on the side where the starter goes. The one on my oil filter housing is different than my vin.

Left shifter goes to lower arm on the transmission, and left mechanism when the shifter is installed (which would be the arm on the right in your picture)
Cut into quarters with a sawzall. I did this and my 120lb, 5'1" tall wife helped me lift the quarters into the bed of the truck:
