I also attached some string line to the rear to see how much air flow I had going across the heat exchanger. At around 60mph the string actually sucked forward. Granted this is with an extended windshield on. Maybe a smaller one for track days would increase airflow. Throwing a couple 7” fans...
Hey guys , I’ve been doing some cooling mods recently after my first track day. Felt some power loss after a few laps and after replacing a piston not long ago I’m maybe being overly attentive on cooling this thing down.
first up was this frozen boost heat exchanger that has also been used by...
Do you know where about your IAT2 temps are at? I’m thinking of doing LSJ T eventually and using the intake manifold still if possible. I’m currently working on cooling mods at the moment to keep this blower cool for track days
As far as I know the fuel tank settings are not on hp tuners because the sending unit info gets sent right to the cluster and doesn’t go through the BCM. I know this is an old thread but maybe this would help someone in the future making a gauge setup...
i found this, so looking under the realdash_obd2.mxl file. it looks like line 6 is the "start" of the code and 8,9,10,11 are there as a guide and not actual code. so assuming this is the case i can copy line 6,7 and then 12-24 and that would be the first batch of the code?
Here is a link. http://www.realdash.net/test/manuals/customizing_obd2_communications.php
in the first paragraph it has a link for Dropbox that contains the default file. I will also try to attach it here below.
There’s a lot of smart people on our forum here so here we go. So I’ve been using an app called Realdash on a tablet for my gauge setup. So far I love everything about it. One thing I would like to do is add the ability to monitor IAT2 temps. This would be especially helpful for us with SS...
In my opinion it’s not worth doing that just to put the gauge where it’s unreadable while driving. I like the fact of adding an actual oil pressure gauge though. Having one saved a built motor in my old turbo civic build. The sending unit brass tee broke and I noticed right away when the gauge...
@GoblinGuyZ love the dash man! I’m ready to start building one as well now that I just got the tablet gauge setup working. What material/thickness did you build yours with ? I also like how you mounted it inwards a little to still access the hood mounting points
