    If you are talking about an using the Cobalt SS Turbo LNF engine, it's a Direct Injection Engine and would require a full ECM/BCM/Wiring Harness swap or go to an aftermarket ECM.

    It wouldn’t surprise me if RPM isn’t talking about using a stock, reprogrammed ECM on the LNF. I’m pretty sure they are the ones that claimed on the HPT forum to have figured out how to eliminate the bcm and VAT from the e69 ECM.

    What are you trying to run that the stock ECM can’t handle? I don’t think that any aftermarket ECM is going to work with HPT except for their own Core ECM, which has limited applications at this point. if running the LNF, not all of the aftermarket ECM will work with direct injection.

    After replacing the sensor or replacing the cam? Typically there are alignment marks on everything for setting it back to where it needs to be. It sounds like you need an oem service manual.

    I would disable it from starting and turn it over with the starter until you have oil pressure before actually letting it run. I just drove mine normally to break it in. Hard to do to much on a car that will likely have issues at first and then needing a tune on top of that will make anything...

    After rereading you are correct . When he said filter, my mind went to the sock on the later models. Still need to be careful with fuel line from ace hardware, since it might not be rated for fuel injection pressures, only carburetor pressure.

    Very possibly. A lot of fuel line is lined on the inside to allow for fuel contact, but the outside is not meant for continuous contact with fuel and will very quickly break down.
