I've tried several approaches, including trying to leave everything loose, can't seem to find the right combination. I sourced the installation hardware, brackets, etc. from DF. The intercooler itself came from FrozenBoost and this this piece which I believe DF uses.

Thank you brother, much appreciated. I think this is the solution to the problem as the 3 pieces are the same length as the original one-piece cover.

So can I just pull the cables back a bit from the rear to get to the in-cabin position required? I was reluctant to bend or twist them in any way.
