Thanks to Adam, the steering arm connection fits great! Turns out it was some sort of issue with the tie rod ends. Those were replaced and the list of upgrades was finished up just in time for the Sick Michigan Miles event. Like... 6 hours before needing to leave. No time to test, just had to...
Still so glad to see you run all week and complete the event. Seeing your car move faster every day makes me want more power for sure. Hopefully you get it up and running for an autocross with us up there too!
Would be great to meet up at some point on our way through with the Sick Michigan Miles run, but not sure when that will actually be. Will try and keep you posted!
Can confirm, the LSJ brakes fit with the right 15" wheel! Its close, but I've run it for a good while without issues.

I've got EBC yellows on front and rear for the short track/autocross stuff, but they would probably handle long track duty with our lighter cars too. EBC has lots of compound choices, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was something to fit your need. I'd suggest giving them a look.
The black delrin type material spacers I believe were to space up the shifter from the tunnel (I'm pretty sure I just removed these on my car for the upgraded shifter last month). The metal spacer looks close to one of the transmission/engine mount spacers, but i think the id for those was...
Same here (as long as I get the car back up and running by then...). I think that day is essentially dedicated to driving the cruise, so maybe meeting up after would be great! I know we'll have to stop at the M1 concourse and Sick Pizza
The whole route for those interested...
That looks much more what I'd expect! Let me grab those measurements for ya and reply to your email. Thanks for the feedback Adam, I really appreciate it!
With all the changes, just shimming that out wasn't going to quite cut it. But the new tensioner is going to work! It's now on car but have a bit of work to go before starting up and confirming everything is ok. Got a better picture of the rear half together (minus the fun exhaust ideas) so...
I've got the same issue - so curious what you find more. I thought it was a loose jam nut or shot control arm heim joint, but I fixed what I could find and still no improvement. I got the solid billet rod end mount kit to see if that helps stiffen the corner too, but haven't tested it yet.
Thought this too. Which more reason I thought sharing close up assembly pictures might help anyone reading through if their parts fit differently too
I'm hoping she'll be running again soon! Its been parked too long ha.
Exhaust will certainly have to turn rear, but this was a funny mock up...
Thanks ;)
And I wouldn't call it an issue, just a note. At first I thought maybe the intention was to overlap the parts for a tight fit and rivet 3 layers together (tunnel, forward/rearward cap, and center cap with shifter). The pieces do fit that way too. But after playing with the parts and...
Had a great start to the month getting to my buddy's garage and working on the goblin. Started in on the shifter install, got my harness recertification done, engine modifications added, and cradle set up! Also, trailer for the drag racing event is ready to roll! Now just need a fuel barrel...
I'm not sure if its just me or not, but I have a small pile of hardware that for the life of me I can't figure out where it goes. Anyone got any advice? In the picture below its the upper right gaggle of fasteners. Maybe one is for the trans mount? But not sure about the other 3. The lower right...
I tried to upload as an mp4 earlier, but YouTube may better. Here's my first good car edit with the insta 360! Just playing with it but I'm excited for during racing.
A lot of progress has been made getting ready for the August event. The year has been quite busy with family commitments, and haven't raced at all either, but each weekend of car work is starting to show! I have a week of vacation coming up to get everything installed and I'm excited for it...
Ha you got me - I shouldn't have said rod ends without specifying i mean the suspension arm connection joints for all the control arms. I think the best I've found are the loader slot designs which would be on that page as FK - KMX series, QA1 XMR series, and midwest control MXM series. But...
Does anyone have good part numbers for the rod ends in the car? Found a good reference with some of the comparable company designs at the page below, but not sure what other folks are running as they are replaced (if you've replaced them).
