The DF Goblin kit car utilizing a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged donor uses the 2.0L LSJ Ecotec engine. This setup is highly regarded in the kit car community for its linear power delivery and reliability.

Engine Specifications
The LSJ engine features a Roots-type Eaton M62 supercharger. In its factory-stock configuration for the 2007 model year, the performance figures are:


Curb Weight
The curb weight of a DF Goblin, On average, an LSJ-equipped Goblin weighs approximately 1,500 lbs.

Power-to-Weight Ratio

A Supercharged DF Goblin (roughly 260 hp, 1600 lbs) achieves a 0–60 mph time of approximately 3.9 seconds. It is capable of a 1/4 mile time of around 10.5–10.6 seconds at 126–128 mph, making it faster than many modern sports cars due to its high power-to-weight ratio.
