Can't make it either. Found I blew an axle seal coming back from the downtown Coffee and cars. My son's dream car is the GT 40 and they had several replicas and one original there.

You don't realize how low and small those cars are until you stand or park next to one. I parked behind one in my mustang once and it disappeared under my hood!

This one was at autocross last Sunday. Very clean and super nice older guy driving it. Only made 2 runs and both were dnf. Kind of wanted to see it in action, but I was on the grid.

It was a bit brisk at cc, but joebob, his boy and I made it. We got front row parking And a whole bunch of questions before we could even get out of the cars. Not as big of a crowd as before, but 40 and cloudy will do that. Had fun though. Billy stopped by a little later. We need to motivate him on his build.

The dude next to me was looking for a new project, so he’s pretty interested. One of the key things he liked, was how much of the cobalt is used. Like I told him, for about 70-80% of the car, I can head down to any auto parts store and get replacement parts.

Went to the local Houston cars and Coffee yesterday. HUGE crowd would be an understatement. Rained a bit on us and no photobomb by Brett and his son this time but was a great show. Even made someone's internet post.

Sorry it is hard to see but it was finally surrounded by people unlike in Russel's last picture.

The belle of the ball was this blue McLaren Senna carbon. $1.5 million and has windows in the doors.

That red XKE and early '70s Carrera in Gulf colors are really nice. Those were the 'super cars' of their day.
