Driving the Goblin in the rain

Well, I received my Goblin kit October 8th 2023 as of September 18th 2024 it is legal on the streets of Pennsylvania! So I had to drive it to my nieces wedding on the other side of York Pa Saturday , over an hour from where I live in Manheim Pa.,,, the wedding was at 3:30 rain was not to start until 9:30 pm. I thought , well this will be a good shakedown run for the car. Having plotted several tow truck companies along my rout , open on Saturday incase of any breakdown. Well Wedding complete reception dinner eaten. I looked an the weather radar. !!!!!! Big red blob over top of where we were, right then! Dang! Said goodbye to everyone. By the time I got to the Goblin the rain started. Well here I go. Luckily , I did happen to throw the roof on the car that morning, just in case. I started my trip . I put the wiper on ,,,, worked great! Poured like heck for 15 minutes. I got to the highway , Route 30 the rain stopped , until I got off 10-12 miles at Columbia Pa. , , White knuckle driving with some alignment issues. Then down pour! big puddles , Lock up stop when a car backed out in front of me. All four tires locked but all was well. Other than my knees being soaked everything went , okay. 198 Miles on the Goblin sense Wednesday. Other than some issues getting it to going reverse and some alignment issues. The car runs great!

I'm convinced that just starting these cars summons the rain. On the flip side tho, if it calls for rain and you don't drive it, then it will be nice and sunny.

I've got just shy of 7k on mine since registering in Montana in 2021. Love it.

Ark , , Are you going to show your Goblin at any car shows ? I Think,,,,,,, Detailing World in Manheim is having one this Sunday. I sent them an e-mail requesting if they are. I have been working on my car so much I have not been keeping up on shows.

I doubt it. Not really my thing. The attention it gets at gas stations and whatnot, is enough for me.
