Do you guys recommend using “Eastwood 2K Aerosol High Gloss Clear” on the bright aluminum parts?

Only if it’s listed as direct to metal, which it probably isn’t. It’s not likely to stick very well without primer.

Which aluminum part? The steering knuckle? If so, I don't think it is anything but bare aluminum.

Sharkhide Metal and Aluminum Protetctant

I'm trying it on all bare metal surfaces. Haven't left it outside to test yet, but it seems to do the trick. I used a small about on a brush to coat any bare metal surfaces. It does dry very quickly so don't plan on pouring any out into a container...if you do, only pour out a bottle cap full or so at a time.

Mine are just bare aluminum that I polished to a nice shine. seem to be holding well after the first year.

Same here. One before and one after. Just wipe it down every once in awhile. I didn't want clear coat flaking. I can touch up oxidation easier than stripping and repolishing.
