V1 Engine Harness

On my main engine harness, it has 3 connectors I will not be using. AC Compressor, AC pressure switch and EVAP Purge control valve. Can I thin these wires out of the harness?

Yep! I did. Even de-pinned them from the connectors.

That 3 wire AC pressure switch actually measures the pressure (5v in, Ground, variable output) ,
and I have been eyeing this for re-purposing. Could be connected to a wide band O2 sensor, a fuel rail pressure transducer, or a oil pressure transducer...
The nice thing about repurposing it is that the GM ECU will put the data on the GM high speed LAN (Canbus)
Then HP Tuners can see it, log it, hopefully even tune with it.
A Canbus gauge can read it, displaying your AC pressure, which is now your oil pressure... hopefully it can be a software customized display.
