V1 F40 guys chime in

Desert Sasqwatch
The MU9 (GM code number) transmission, which is manufactured from 2008 and newer, has the better gear ratios (3 thru 6) and final drive ratio (3.76). A 3.89 and 4.17 final drive ratio was available in Europe, but not in the US.

Note: the 3.76 ratio with a 25.0 inch tall tire will reach 60 mph at 2nd gear redline (6200 rpm) so only one gear change needed to arrive at that speed. Short gear ratios - 3.89 and 4.17 - require a second gear change into 3rd gear to get to 60 mph. Just some additional information.

4.17s sound fun, but turbo cars love load :D
But really, 4.17s could be a lot of fun in a 6spd car and still be able to cruise at dumb low rpm on the highway.
