Future DF Kit Car Owner and New Member

Hello all! After careful consideration, I decided to go this route and get one of these kit cars. I have not put my deposit in yet or picked up a donor car. I plan on picking up a 2007 cobalt with a salvage title with 108k miles for around $900. I plan on registering the car and using in for road use. I'm in Washington State. I plan on driving it rain or shine. I will do the payment plan.
List of items I plan on changing or upgrading during the build:
Steering Wheel
Push Button Start
Wheels and Tires
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Waterproof Connectors
Drilled and Slotted Rotors
Shift Lever
DOT Head lights
Possibly a hand brake

I was all into adding a push button start system and planned to do it after the build just to make sure everything worked first. Now that it's complete, eh, maybe later.

I'm in Bothell... i plan on keyless. I will try it on the car before tearing it down.

I'm not to that point yet. Engine going in this weekend.
From the other vehicles I've seen on the street, I'm not too worried about getting it licensed. Polaris offroad 4 seaters, Slingshots, Ariel Atoms, all licensed.
