V1 Heat exchanger wire

Can I wire my heat exchanger to this pink wire. Not sure what this is for if it’s for power or not. Looks kinda small for power.

I guess where do you get power from for the heat ehxanger

Are you asking for the HE fan or something else? The pink wires in the harness are generally the 12v switched. The wire diameter will determine how much amperage it can carry and the size of the fuse in the circuit.

In general, the small fans used are 80 watt, which correlates to at least a 10 amp circuit and fuse. Most every single fan I've worked with is run in a 15 amp 14 AWG circuit. If you can trace the pink wire back to find a 15 amp fuse in the circuit, you are likely okay.

I would use the pink 12v key on wire to trigger on a relay to run the HE fan. It’s safer that way.
