So, we got the new ATK motor fired up and trying to wire a AFR gauge. We have a purple wire at the dash and one by the fuse box, both labeled accessories, can anyone tell me what circuit that is. I found one thread that related it to the orange wire for the button panel/fog lamps, but I cannot figure out how to energize these purple wires. I tried grounding the orange wire, that did not work. I don't have the button panel, and probably won't get it because I'm wiring buttons into my stearing wheel.

I think that purple wire was the fog lamps on my donor.

To energize it, the BCM needs to see a ground on front fog lamp switch signal, then the BCM sends a signal out a yellow wire, which trips the fog lamp relay, and if the fog lamp fuse is good, it should energize the purple wire.

Hey guys. Thanks for the help. The orange wire going to the button panel, which I don't have, is the trigger for the purple /accessory wire at the dash. The orange wire needs to contact ground momentarily with the ignition turned to AAC to energize the purple wire with 12V. The purple wire is then de-energized by either another trigger of the orange wire to ground or keyed ignition AAC turned off.

You guys never fail me.
