V1 Rear Brakes Install

How do these silly Solstice brakes go together? One pad has a spring on top and one doesn’t. And what’s with this extra wire clip?

Like this? Or reversed?


Edit. Reversed is what I saw on a video. The inner pad should be the one with the spring on the top.

And how do these GM brake line clips go in? Is this it? I cant get the clip to go over the metal frame tab….

Sorry Ark, that wasn’t it. I was looking for specifically how the pads orient. I found a video that showed a glimpse of the pads. It looks like the inner pad is the one with the spring on the top. I also got the big calliper spring in, that thing was a pain!

That's how I did it, it hasn't moved or given me a problem (yet). I tried to get the clip to go over the tab but couldn't get it to start, so I went with the picture.

I believe that's correct. That's how mine are set up without issue.
