V1 RPD wired wrong?

Anyone have any idea about the RPD wiring? Previous owner thought the display was broken, but I was able to troubleshoot and bench test it works fine. I was looking at the power source and it seems to be wired into my headlights? Is this the normal setup recommended by DF or should I rewire it so it’s ignition on instead?

Put your donor in your signature. If you have a LNF/Turbo, I’ll look up the wiring diagram.

What info do you need? I’m not sure on the donor specifics, I wasn’t passed on much information.

At least the basic of turbo, super charged or normally aspirated . And if NA, year of donor.
