V1 Shifter Cable Too Short?

Hello,

I am trying to get my shifter cables set properly before proceeding with installing the shifter itself. I have not been able to get the passenger side crank perpendicular to the tunnel with the transmission in neutral. I have the ball sockets threaded on only 2-3 turns, and I believe I have the cable lock nuts adjusted to get maximum length at the ends of the cable. The cables were provided by DF, as I've heard some people have had to order them themselves.

I had the same issue. The shifter set up you're getting can come with extensions to reach. I've got you covered.

It's a little ~2"female threaded fitting on each side to extend it a little... nothing special.
