V1 Speedo and mileage issue

I just started driving the car and noticed the speedo is not working and the mileage is not changing. Anyone know why this might be?

Do you have the speed sensor hooked into your trans? If I recall correctly, that connector and the plug for the backup switch are the same, so it's possible to switch the two. If your reverse lights don't work either, that'd be your smoking gun.

Backup lights work. I thought I had it plugged in but I will check tonight. Thank you.

The sensors in the transmission do fail and are relatively cheap. If it was just speedometer, the stepper motor in mine has failed.
