From what I can find it the low reference wire. I just can not figure out what connector it went to from the body harness where it went through the floor under the rear seat
I'm looking at an older wiring diagram and if they are the same, the tan wire goes to the fuel tank pressure sensor.
The sensor has:
1) GRY/RED
2) BRN/WHT
3) RED/PNK
The tan wire connects to 3) RED/PNK of the sensor. The other end of the tan wire connects to a junction which one wire goes to PNK/ORG and then continues on to PIN 29 of the PCM.
I’m so lost. I was following the videos. It said to cut the grey and purple which was not problem to find. Then it said dust the tan. I thought I cut the right one. It didn’t mention red/pnk

I'm referencing a older, non turbo car. It may be different on your donor. I don't have a diagram for anything newer. I was hoping it was the same, I don't know.
I am keeping the evap wires as well as the pump and yes the wires do change color as they go from the bulkhead connector under the rear seat to the plugs that go to the tank and evap canister. Hopefully this picture helps and I have it correct

The ECU and fuse block. The fuel pump part follows the videos that Lonny put together. I just didn't cut the Evap lines and bundled them with the fuel pump as the canister will have to be nearby. The tan is split between the two as you can see in the first picture. The top splices are the fuel pump per the video and the lower connections are the evap lines. I hope that clears it up.
Thank you everyone. Apparently I had it all along. Spoke with Lonny this morning. Its not only for the fuel pump it’s also for the clutch. I had it labeled clutch and started to freak out
