That is the exception allowed, adding high horsepower. But lowering or body mods are useless to me on a Beatle. I don't watch Bitchin' Rides much, but Dave Kindig can do some good-looking stuff. But when he starts slobbering over a Beatle, I just don't see it. Only when it gets changed enough that there isn't much Beatle left do they start to get interesting.

They copied what VW did to sell Golfs a while back. Each panel a bright but different color from each other. They called it the Harlequin. And yes. Quite tacky....
