Tornado in Jefferson City, MO

I live in Jefferson City, MO and last night around midnight, we were hit with an EF3 tornado. The path of this tornado was only a mile or so from our house. Thankfully we have no damage. For others, not so lucky. I was out of town on business and had to watch helplessly as my family was at home riding it out.

Here are a couple of pictures with connections to my life.

My daughter walked out of this school building for the last time earlier in the day. This was their last day of school.

The local Chevrolet car dealership where I recently picked up my new company truck. Everything was destroyed.

This is the RC Race Barn that Kaleb and I spent 6-7 years racing RC cars every weekend. It was owned by my neighbor up until about a year ago. This is a before picture.

And this is after.

This is only a very small part of all of the damage all through the town. We lost a lot of historical buildings.
