The groans, etc., were annoying but not crazy annoying. We just kept driving and after few months we had one of those rare and magical moments.
To wit: A "hey, I'm not hearing those noises any more" moment.
Gotta love it.

The Hill Country of TX is a popular place for various car-enthusiast groups to meet up, do drives, etc.
Maybe by the time the autumn season rolls around the TX-Goblin contingent will be better situated to launch such an event...
So, the heat/humidity monster is about to arrive here, for a long stay, in greater Kicaster (TX). It's not so bad here as what Houston gets (been there done that) but it's bad enough.
Which means that the DF-supplied windshield (which was an ideal size in late winter and early spring) will...
Exceptionally clean, unmolested-looking engine bay here ...

With Goblins being such a fun ride, wouldn't someone's Buster or Princess also like to (safely) share in the enjoyment?

Most alternators are designed to produce charge when rotating in a clockwise direction. Alternators on 2007 Cobalts (SS/SC) are the opposite.
Am having problems getting one of these latter alternators properly tested.
Seems that most of the test rigs (e.g. at O'Reillys) only work on the...
Am finding critical mating surfaces (e.g., supercharger-to-intercooler) where no gasket was used during original/factory assembly (of an LSJ engine). What, if any, kind of sealer should be used during reassembly?
(It's old-school but am tempted to use common wheel-bearing grease.)
Having lower control arms of the aluminum-alloy variety is a characteristic of an FE3 suspension. True or false?
A Cobalt with an FE3 suspension will sit lower to the ground and have a firmer ride. True or false?
It will have front struts that are shorter than the ones on a plain-jane (FE1)...
Am thinking a double-bubble windscreen treatment might be cool on a Goblin. Here's a polaris-slingshot version of same.

But how about saving some significant $$$ by getting two of these and modding them up to fit...
Auction won and donor car on it's way to Texas.

Here's hoping there's no extra-ugly surprises when it arrives ...
Speaking of ugly, we'll be getting clipped for Texas state sales taxes on each/every item we purchase from DF. Ugh.

Wondering whether anyone has (a) seen this listing and (b) a semi-informed opinion regarding whether one of these would work in a Goblin.
