Capping of wires later in the "Reorg Wire Harness Videos"...why not remove?

Later in the harness reorganization videos, there are a few wires that end up getting capped. Why not trace those back and cut them out?

I know they don't weigh much, but the tiny part of me that has OCD wants to get rid of them....

I am not sure of the exact wires you are talking about, maybe they are used later in the video. However I was one that removed all the pens instead of just cutting the wires. But if you do, keep them in case you make a mistake and you can add them back. We even found out our engine harness for the same OCD reason.

Yes, i thinned my engine harness too. So rewarding.

I can't remember which video they're in, but there are a few where they put some heat shrink on the end and fold it over. I'll watch again and report back.
