I was just reading that same article... that would be pretty awesome, though I don't know how much faster it would be since you still have to use the clutch normally. As much as I usually skip around the gears (pull 1-2 to highway speed, then drop straight to 5 or 6), I think it would be more of a hindrance for me, but might be good for track duty - less chance of mis-shifting.

Really slick if you have the right hardware, which at the moment we don't. Pre-order pricing is $2,400! A logical next step would be to integrate clutch actuation with the shifter. Still, it's a negligible gain for a couple dozen Franklins.
