Trans final gear

So I'm just doing some research on trans because my donor did not have the g85 option :( so I would like to to know what are guys doing to there trans because I was reading the the f35 with the 4.05 is better and stronger then the 3.82 so should I just buy a f35 and change to a 4.05 what do you guys think

Which engine are you running? I believe both the 2.0 SS and TC are compatible with the F35 bolt pattern but all other engines use the F23.

I will be running the 4.05 F35 from my donor but I am going to use an LDK/LNF engine. I have read the 4.05 gears are better as well but only due to the shorter final drive being less harsh on the transmission. With the Goblin being so lightweight I don't think it would matter quite as much.
