Odometer reset

What's the best way to get the odometer to reflect more accurate mileage (2,000 MILES)? The Goblin I'm buying is essentially a two year old car, engine, etc. Will a new pcm/ecu accept a Goblin VIN ?

There are companies that will reset and there is a how to on here but it’s a little involved.

I used Odo-Pro and was very satisfied with the work. Reset mileage to 0 because of my rebuild.
