I put on larger tires and had to widen the rear fenders. I had to make my own custom adapters to make it all fit. Maybe these will help you out. Good luck.
That GM TSB refers to the F23 as used in the Pontiac Sunfire and Grand Am. It even says that in the TSB under "models". The M86 and M94 are actually GETRAG axle codes. Not sure any of that TSB applies to the F23 as used in the Cobalt. But it looks like we are in agreement that overfilling...

New clutch, pressure plate & Aluminum Flywheel arrived today. Well packaged & ZZP ships very fast. Going to replace the Crankshaft seal, the axle seals and put in a new throw-out bearing. Need to check the clutch "air gap" and see if I need a spacer.

About 1,000 miles. It was a great clutch before I added the Turbo. It handled the 180HP engine just fine. Now making (estimate) 300+ HP and it just wasn't up to the task.

I just upgraded my NA 2.4L Ecotec to a K04 Turbo. Never had a clutch issue prior to that. Now once the Turbo spools up I have clutch slippage in 2nd and 3rd gear. I have a Stage II clutch from Gripforce and it looks like the Pressure Plate springs are too weak for the higher Horse Power.

Finished the Intercooler install today. Running the piping was a challenge. I will be adding an Intercooler fan & changing the Air filter/intake. Not crazy about the look as it is now. Short video of the first start since adding the K04 Turbo on Youtube.
