Big guys out there? Stretched frames?

So I haven't been able to actually sit in a Goblin yet, but I am wondering how comfortable the big guys on here are in their rides. I am 5'11 (barefoot) and about 300lbs. I am still shedding pounds, but don't see myself below 250 for awhile. That's why I am inquiring how big some of you guys are, how comfortable are you driving and what is your choice of seats?

Rather than post a second thread, figured I'd throw this out there also. Has anyone stretched their frame longer that what DF offers? Anyone do a four seat Goblin so they can scare 3 friends also?

Thanks in advance for the info.

I know of no one that has changed the frame significantly. The extended frame is enough for the tallest of drivers if you move the seat back. We made sliders so they can be slid back.

We originally used the Corbeau Forza Wide seats and I believe they would fit you well.

I can’t say for sure if you would be fine on a DF “extended” frame, but I would think you would be “ok”. Maybe a little “snug”. I’m 5’ 9” and was 260 a year ago when I ”fit” in a regular frame, but even with my size, I’m good at squeezing in to tight spaces. I’m under 240 now and fit much better in a standard frame. Sitting in JBINTX extended frame, I fit much better. I’m hoping to drop another 20# by the end of the year. I’m not dieting, I’m just staying active and eating better overall.

Going to meet up with a couple Goblin owners a few hours away to test fit myself.

I might not go cross country, but I want to be comfortable for those long road trip days.

We fit a whole lot of ass in my Goblin. I’m 6’3” and 220lbs. My passenger is 6’3” as well, but 275ish.

Poor little fellas. I'm 6'3" 330+. I use stock ss seats. I have plenty of room. I have an extended lower entry track frame. My steering wheel is not removable. I use stock seat belts. I'm looking into putting kirkey 18.5" aluminum seats with racing harness w/ arm straps to be legal to race at the local drag strip. The 18.5" is ok, but by the time I add the padded cover, it might be too tight. I want to go with the kirkey 20" big boy seat, but I'm not sure it will fit in the frame. Has anybody done this?

I don't think the 20" seat will fit without adding a significant amount of height. Especially once you start trying to anchor your lap belts.

Ok. I figured that would be the problem. The stock seats are so high, and I'm used to them. I feel like I'll be dragging my ass on the ground with the kirkey seats.
