V1 Booster hose

I’m trying to run the booster hose from this fitting (silver colored nipple coming out of SC intake) to the hole on the front of the brake booster. The hose seems about two feet too short and wants to kink as it goes from the nipple toward the tunnel to run forward. Any thoughts? Do I need to add an extension to the tube?

The videos show using the stock booster hose to make the initial turn downward from the nipple, then inserting and clamping the provided hose into the stock hose about 18" down (check the video for exact length). That should get you pretty close to making up the shortage in length.
