V1 DF LED Tail Lights - Reverse lights?

Wired up my DF LED tail lights today. They seem to be functioning fine but I'm a little confused on the Reverse lights. I would assume the white ring of lights is the reverse lights. Right now they appear to be always on. I think I am wired correctly because if I pull the fuse for the Reverse lights they go out. There is a sense on tope of the manual transmission that I believe detects the position and should only allow them on when the car is in Reverse. It was unplugged so I plugged it in. No change. I don't have my clutch bled and my shifter tunnel cap mounted so I didnt shift through gears seeing if I could change it. I do know that I'm not in reverse. The car is in Neutral (at least it should be, i can roll it around by hand).

Test the reverse switch, see if it has gone bad.

I had a similar problem. Discussed in Post #33 in my build log. Came down to confirming the wires were connected correctly (mine weren't)

Same as above. Mine were mixed up

If I recall correctly the trans reverse switch plug and the boost solenoid have the same connector and are close enough to be mixed up, and if I recall correctly twice in a row, will lead to the reverse lights being on all the time. Don't ask me how I know.
