Hi, my name is Wexler, and I live in Sacramento California.
I have a great donor, a 2008 LS Chevrolet cobalt stock, that has 119,000 miles. It’s had its hundred thousand mile tune up, satellite radio, manual transmission, crank windows. Cold AC.
Last year I turned it in for servicing and the mechanic over torqued the spark plug and cracked the head. They put a refurbished head on and it backfired, they tried to get me to take it. Nope, I’ll just waste a day of your time. Take you to Small Claims Court for the maximum.
At that point they then bought a brand new head gasket from a Chevy and Chevy Roseville CA installed.
Brand new clutch put in last month, polished the flywheel and the transmission. It is extremely reliable, but I think it could go to a new home and have a second life.
The only problem happening now is the roof and the back of the car in a few places the clearcoat is starting to peel off. It needs to be gently sanded off.
Engine runs like a top!
