It looks like I have had the ground driver for the o2 sensor 1 heater faile in my ECM. For the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed that occasionally my short term fuel trims would zero. I thought that it was an issue with the usb cable from HPT since I had some problems getting HPT to connect. New cable seemed to resolve the connection issue but last night the fuel trims locked again and threw a P0030 code for o2 heater control and multiple connections and clearing code seemed to show that it is a full time problem. Service manual diagnosis checked the wiring as good so new ECM ordered.
I’m hoping that setting the code to disable in HPT will allow the trims to function until I can get a new ECM installed, I’ll just have to be careful until fully up to temperature.
