V1 EPS wire length

For the large Power Steering wires, are they 18" long or 14" long to the harness? I've seen both numbers on the board.

When in doubt, I would go with the longer length. I sure don’t remember thinking I wish a wire was shorter while routing and connecting wires. I did have a lot of places that I wished the wire was a little longer.

Thanks. I was thinking that, as long as I have enough length on the other end. Maybe split the difference at 16"

What length is your chassis? 4" is coincidentally the length differential between the standard and extended chassis options.

Leave it long. Wire stretchers are expensive and hard to find.

EDIT: that wire gets mated to a wire from the main harness in wiring vid #10 so just make sure there is enough length for that.
