Goblin AT in SCCA Rallycross?

Anybody considered building a Goblin to run in SCCA Rallycross? It would probably run in C2 (Contructor 2WD) against Sierra RX3's. The specs say the RX3 is 200HP/1000 lb, I'm thinking a Goblin might give it a run for the money!

I love rally racing, but I'm not anywhere near any SCCA Rallycross events. Just wondering if I'm the only one who thinks of these things.

Well, a Goblin has twice as many seats, 50% more weight, and half the suspension travel. So I am not so sure it would be competitive against that Sierra car. It does look like fun. It sounds like a motorcycle engine, and she said it revs to 13,000 rpm, so I am guessing it is a big motorcycle engine in it.

That rig is what a lot of the folks on the Baja SAE team wanted the cars to be when they first joined

Yeah, those are Hyabusa powered, but I still think a Goblin AT would be a ton of fun at those.
