Part of the donors shifter linkage. I don't know the correct technical term. They just super glued it back together.

So what did they break?

The OEM shifter linkage just under the shifter. The original DF cars had small heim joints to mount to the shifter linkages and most recently they are now using the OEM plastic clip-on style connections from the shifter shaft to the linkages.

These guys are meeting exactly what their audiance want and I respect that. At first I was like man they are going down a dangerous path but then I observed the amount of homework they put into building the car. They obvioulsy have researched this site a lot from past experiences. They also spend a lot of time forming fiberglass panels of the viper. At 20 to rebuild a viper and GTR is impressive. They also built this goblin in no time inlcuding editing the videos.

If they respected the car like most of us do and did not do donuts in grass, or make goofey jokes, or burn out in the driveway they probably would not have as many audiances unfortuntely and would not be able to show their true skills of restoring cars.

Only advice I can give them is safety they need to observe this like ripping off parts when the car is being held up by a bobcat...that is insane.

Totally agree with you! At their age... getting to do that and make a really good living at it! Can you imagine! Ad revenue for almost 800K subscribers is no chump change!... even divided by two (or three if someone else does their editing). I follow a few builders, car reviewers and auto entertainers on YouTube and these guys do a great job!

That's shameful using your Goblin as workbench. But it does get some air-time and some mention.

A Goonzquad video that I stumbled over randomly on YouTube led me to the Goblin and this community, so I'm grateful to those knuckleheads for that. But dang they are hard to watch..."that's sick" like a million times per video, at least on the earlier videos. But I figure it those guys can build a Goblin, I can probably muddle through a build too .

I love the Goonzquad but those boys are going to end up hurting themselves. A few episodes ago, they were moving their latest rebuild (a Factory Five GTM), without a bloody tire on the thing. They almost went through the wall of their garage. I'm hoping they don't learn a tough lesson, any time soon...
