I got some Aerocatch flush latches, the kind with strikers and pins.... we'll see how that goes. After reading about the cheaper knockoff push lock ones sticking, or opening at speed and ruining your car, I went with this.

Readded this to my list of things to do lol. Not keen on drilling the holes but zip-tie-ing the hood shut is getting annoying lol

I hadn't seen this one yet, but after fiddling with the Dzus fasteners on the front and nuts and bolts at the rear of the hood only a few times, I'm already looking for a better solution, and this might be it lol

Yes, I saw those. I'm wondering about the bottom (towards the front wheels) of the hood. I'm assuming on some sort of swivel mounts.

He mentioned 4" stainless steel hinges. He didn't have any pics, but I have seen a few other builds that show them.
