Hey, I'm Brian. I stumbled across the Goblin while looking into building a car. Lots of choices, but I decided the Goblin was going to be my first build.

I picked up my functional donor yesterday, a 2006 SS\SC, for 2800. It needs some work, as it will be my winter car, to keep my Holden Commodore out of the Wisconsin weather Dec to March, and allow me to do some much needed clutch replacement and spark plugs on my 05 Mustang GT. Come March, the Cobalt is getting torn down and turned into a Goblin.

I'll be calling the shop to order stage 1 in a few days. This is going to be so much fun.

Welcome. Never heard of Holden. What's the story behind the Commodore?
The Holden Commodore is the Chevy SS. Holden was the premier auto manufacturer in Australia. Since 2014, they have made a LHD version of the Commodore SSV, sold in the USA as the Chevy Super Sport. Sadly, Holden closed their production facility in October, moving into global auto distribution. Lots of vehicles are using Holden technology today.
