LNF has retired

Well it’s finally that day. I’ve had a slow coolant leak the last couple years and I was hoping it was just an old hose. Today proved me wrong. Did some data logs and the car felt weak up top but the logs were clean. Got out and the coolant tank was empty. Spark plugs are clean and it idled and ran fine with regular driving so I don’t believe the head gasket blew. I do have a block stamped late 2008 so it is in the time frame for this.
I’m piecing together a 2.1 to replace it currently so it should be able to take whatever I throw at it on e47.

Not really upset about it honestly. Figured it’s had a hard life and from the looks of it my tuning ability isn’t what broke it. Besides now I can shoot for 450ish wheel on E with the new engine.

that’s like mine. If it gives up the ghost I’ll be upset, but not unexpected. It was hammered when I bought the cobalt and hasn’t seen an easy life with me behind the wheel either.
